This week brings us new beers from two of our favorite local spots - Neshaminy Creek and Free Will Brewing. We've also got new brews from west coast powerhouses Stone and Ballast Point, and a few additions to our lineup of barrel aged beers from Allagash.
NESHAMINY CREEK BREWING COMPANY (Croydon, PA)
This is Not the New Neshaminy Creek IPA
The younger brother of County Line, this unfiltered IPA is dry hopped with mosaic and features flavors of tangerine and ruby grapefruit (6.6% abv)
FREE WILL BREWING COMPANY (Perkasie, PA)
Stay Tuned
An intense imperial stout featuring big notes of dark chocolate and burnt sugar. (10.1% abv)
BALLAST POINT BREWING COMPANY (San Diego, CA)
High West Victory at Sea
Imperial porter brewed with coffee and vanilla aged in High West Bourbon and Rye Whiskey casks, which impart a smoky oak flavor over notes of dark chocolate and caramel.
STONE BREWING COMPANY (Escondido, CA)
Exalted IPA
Citrus hop flavors dominate this newest addition to Stones Hop Worship IPA series. This one features Loral and Citra hops. (7.0% abv)
ALLAGASH BREWING COMPANY (Portland, ME)
James and Julie
A classic Flemish style sour brown ale, featuring notes of figs, raisins, cherries, and carmelized sugar. Aged for two years with a blend of Lactobacillus and Pediococcus cultures (6.7% abv)
Pastiche
A blend of four different ales that are then aged in eight different barrels, including rye whiskey, vermouth, port, rum, bourbon, red wine, gin, and brandy. Contains notes of caramel, dried fruit, spirits, and oak. (8.5% abv)
